The evening began with an introduction of Borgogno by Giovanni Oliva, the founder and managing director of Borgogno Asia Pacific, who shared insights into the heritage of the vineyard and the unique tasting notes of each wine. The experience unfolded with a meticulously crafted menu, where each course was artfully paired with exquisite selections from one of Italy’s most prestigious vineyards. Our culinary favourite was the Consommé di Funghi, a stunning composition of morel mushroom consommé, delicately nestled with pine nuts, ricotta ravioli, and finished with shaved black Italian truffle. This dish was flawlessly complemented by the Borgogno No Name Langhe Nebbiolo, creating a sublime synergy that captivated the palate.
