Our stay at Marriott Executive Apartments Penang combined the comforts of home with five-star hotel living, complete with full facilities and quality dining. Sharing the address with Penang Marriott Hotel, guests can enjoy access to its facilities and vibrant dining venues. Located on Gurney Drive with views of Gurney Bay, just 10 minutes from George Town’s UNESCO Heritage Site, the property offers a perfect balance between coastal relaxation and cultural exploration.

We stayed in a thoughtfully designed two-bedroom suite, ideal for both short and extended stays. It included a fully equipped kitchen, in-room washer and dryer, and a spacious living area with a large dining table.Both bedrooms offered ample wardrobe space and soft lighting for a restful atmosphere. The bathroom was generously sized, and the satisfying water pressure made each shower a pleasant experience.

We had the pleasure of dining at Kucina, the hotel’s Italian restaurant offering a welcoming atmosphere and a variety of classic Italian cuisines. Sago, located on Level 2, served daily breakfast with a wide selection of international and local favourites. For something lighter, Lava Java offered aromatic coffee and beautifully crafted pastries, while The Great Room was a stylish spot to unwind with cocktails recommended by the attentive bartender. We also visited the M Club, a comfortable lounge serving light bites by day and cocktails with snacks in the evening.
